Surya’s Cooling Massage & Body Oil is an herbally rich blend that helps remove excess heat in tissues and joints, cooling sunburnt, aggravated, and stressed skin, and, when used in a light, daily, lymphatic self-massage, helps restore mental and physical equilibrium.  Effects can be felt immediately. Cools the Pitta dosha.

How To Use

Massage a bit of room temperature or warm oil onto your body, starting with ears and neck, working towards your heart. When massaging arms and legs, use circular motions around joints, and a back-and-forth motion on muscles. You can also apply to scalp, and to face, unless you’re using Surya’s Balancing Face Oil for that portion of the self-massage. Combine our Cooling Body & Massage Oil with Surya’s deeply restorative single-use Cooling Bath Soak, and create a luxurious and healing retreat experience at home, for body and mind.

    Nourishing and sensual

    Marthas recipes are loyal to the ancient texts of Aryuveda but also have that added ingredient that she brings to the process, her signature touch results in a well balanced subtly blended oil that feels like a beauty product but which also has the weight of an ancient lineage of medicine behind it. I treasure this oil and use it sparingly as and when I feel my fie element is in need of a little balancing. I find that it works a treat and would recommend it to anyone who has the tendency to feel a bit riled up and burned out by the stresses and strains of our crazy modern world.
